Appropriates $5,000,000 from bond proceeds in the state transportation fund as a grant to the city of Lake Elmo for a new interchange at Trunk Highway 36 and Lake Elmo Avenue (Washington County State-Aid Highway 17)

Funds may be used for property acquisition, predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of the interchange

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue up to $5,000,000 in state general obligation bonds to fund the appropriation

Appropriation covers the city's share of the project that is eligible for general obligation bond funding

Effective the day following final enactment
