Appropriates $10 million as a one-time allocation for the supportive housing program under Minnesota Statutes section 462A.42

Designates $9 million specifically for grants to HUD Continuum of Care Program grantees from fiscal year 2024 whose contracts have expired or will expire before December 31, 2026, and have experienced funding gaps

Authorizes the agency to award grants noncompetitively to existing and previous federal Continuum of Care funding recipients, bypassing standard application and procurement requirements

Permits funds to be used for permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, transitional housing, and system-related activities as supplemental emergency support resources

Requires grantees to submit reports every 90 days detailing fund usage and number of people served, with the commissioner compiling and submitting reports to legislative housing committee chairs and the Legislative Reference Library
