Presidential and vice presidential candidates seeking ballot access through petition must submit a signed, notarized affidavit declaring they satisfy all U.S. Constitutional eligibility requirements for the office

Major political party chairs must certify to the Secretary of State at least 71 days before the general election that their party's presidential and vice presidential candidates meet all Constitutional eligibility requirements

Write-in presidential candidates must certify on their filing request that both the presidential and vice presidential candidates satisfy all Constitutional requirements for office eligibility

Amends Minnesota Statutes sections 204B.07, 204B.09, and 208.03 to add these certification requirements

Takes effect the day following final enactment
