Removes the June 30, 2025 expiration date for the requirement that health plan companies must credential and contract with mental health providers who meet credentialing standards, making the requirement permanent

Health plan companies must credential any mental health provider that meets credential requirements, seeks credentialing, agrees to contract terms with usual and customary payment rates, is accepting new patients, and is not already contracted under a separate tax ID

Allows health plan companies to waive credentialing requirements not directly related to quality of care to improve patient access to providers from underserved communities or rural areas

Prohibits health plan companies from refusing to credential mental health providers based on claims that their network already has sufficient providers of that type or sufficient mental health providers overall

Effective retroactively from June 30, 2025, ensuring no gap in the credentialing requirements
