Prohibits manufacturing, importing, transferring, owning, or possessing ammunition magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds, effective July 1, 2026

Exempts .22 caliber tube feeding devices, tubular magazines in lever-action firearms, and devices permanently altered to hold 10 rounds or fewer

Provides exceptions for government officers, military members, and peace officers acting within their duties, as well as licensed manufacturers and dealers selling to law enforcement or armed forces

Violations constitute a felony punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment, a fine up to $25,000, or both

Current owners have until July 1, 2027 to surrender magazines to law enforcement, render them inoperable, modify them to hold 10 rounds or fewer, or remove them from the state
