Amends Minnesota Statutes section 342.13 to expand the list of facilities near which local governments may prohibit cannabis business operations within 500 feet

Adds three new facility types to the 500-foot prohibition zone: congregate housing for children, congregate housing for transplant recipients, and hospitals

Existing law already allows local governments to prohibit cannabis businesses within 1,000 feet of schools and 500 feet of day cares, residential treatment facilities, and public park attractions regularly used by minors

Local governments retain authority to adopt reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions on cannabis businesses, provided they do not entirely prohibit establishment or operation
