Appropriates $6.5 million from the general fund to the Commissioner of Education for fiscal year 2027 to fund the Faith's Law "Save a Life" Safety Program

Grants funds to the Minnesota State High School League to purchase and install up to 1,400 smart monitored public access safety cabinets at $4,500 per unit on school grounds

Each safety cabinet includes a connected AED unit integrated with 911 call centers, an American Heart Association bleeding control kit, naloxone, and four years of smart monitoring and maintenance

Eligible recipients include school districts, charter schools, and Tribal contract schools that agree to place units in publicly accessible locations and maintain them for four years without additional state or local funding

Minnesota State High School League must begin accepting applications by October 1, 2026, and submit a report to the legislature by October 1, 2027 on grants awarded and AED units installed; appropriation is available until June 30, 2030
