Removes employee identification numbers from the list of public personnel data for current and former government employees, volunteers, and independent contractors

Employee identification numbers would no longer be accessible through public data requests under Minnesota's Government Data Practices Act

Current law already prohibits using Social Security numbers as employee identification numbers; this change adds further privacy protection by making the alternative ID numbers non-public

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 13.43, subdivision 2, which governs what personnel data government entities must disclose publicly
