Cost-sharing protections cover co-payments and coinsurance for epilepsy medications and related medical supplies necessary to treat the condition

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 62Q.481, subdivision 2, which governs health insurance cost-sharing limitations for chronic disease treatments

Effective January 1, 2027, applying to health plans offered, issued, or renewed on or after that date
