Allows eggs past their quality assurance date to be donated to charitable food assistance programs instead of being removed from sale

Donated eggs must remain in original packaging, have been previously candled and graded, and be continuously refrigerated

Eggs must be distributed to consumers within 30 days of their original quality assurance date

Packaging must include a label with the charitable program's name, a "distribute by" date (no more than 30 days past the original date), and the statement "Donated Eggs - Not for Resale"

Adds a statutory definition of "quality assurance date" as the date after which a product may lose palatability or nutritive properties due to spoilage, drying, or other natural phenomena
