Establishes State Fire Code compliance standards for fuel-dispensing equipment used with alcohol-blended fuels containing more than 10% ethanol (such as E15, E85)

Requires equipment to have Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listing or similar third-party certification for ethanol concentrations within five percentage points of the blend being dispensed

Requires equipment manufacturers to provide written certification of compatibility with the specific ethanol blend per Minnesota Rules, part 7150.0100, subpart 9, item C

Applies to dispensers, hoses, nozzles, breakaway fittings, swivels, flexible connectors, emergency shutoff valves, vapor recovery systems, leak detection devices, and pumps

Preserves existing State Fire Code requirements for electrical classification, emergency shutoff systems, impact protection, and other safety provisions not related to equipment compatibility
