Exempts construction materials, supplies, and equipment from state sales and use tax for two Washington County projects: the Stafford Library Remodel and the South Highway Shop project

Purchases must be made between July 1, 2026, and December 31, 2028, to qualify for the exemption

Tax will be collected at the point of sale and then refunded to purchasers, with refunds not issued until after June 30, 2026

Appropriates funds from the state general fund to the commissioner of revenue to pay for the refunds
