County agricultural societies (as defined under section 38.01) may award up to $100,000 in prizes for lawful gambling per calendar year while remaining exempt from gambling licensure requirements, compared to the $50,000 limit for other organizations

Organizations qualifying for the exemption must conduct lawful gambling on five or fewer days per calendar year, pay a $100 application fee per occasion ($150 if submitted less than 30 days before), and notify local government 30 days in advance

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 349.166, subdivision 2, specifically creating a higher prize threshold for county agricultural societies while maintaining existing exemption requirements
