Repeals Minnesota Statutes section 116P.17, which required recipients of Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund appropriations to obtain written approval from the Commissioner of Natural Resources before acquiring real property interests

Eliminates the current 10-business-day advance approval requirement for trust fund recipients seeking to purchase land or property interests

Removes the requirement that trust fund recipients submit tax assessed values and planned offer amounts to the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources and the DNR commissioner before acquisitions

Effective the day following final enactment
