Allows licensed cosmetologists to receive credit for up to 1,000 hours toward the required 1,500 hours of barber school study if their training is substantially similar to barber school requirements

Increases maximum annual practical examinations from six to eight and codifies examination grading standards requiring a minimum score of 75 on both practical and written portions
