Health plans must reimburse clinical trainees providing alcoholism, mental health, and chemical dependency services at 100% of the rate paid to independently licensed mental health professionals for the same services

Clinical trainees must be practicing pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 245I.04, subdivision 6, and services must fall within their authorized scope of practice

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 62Q.47, which governs mental health parity requirements for health insurance plans

Effective January 1, 2027, applying to health plans offered, issued, sold, or renewed on or after that date
