Elevates basic peace officer impersonation with intent to mislead from a misdemeanor to a felony, punishable by up to 2 years imprisonment and/or a $4,000 fine

Increases penalty for impersonation while committing another crime or aggravating acts (accessing restricted buildings, giving unlawful orders, using police sirens, or operating vehicles marked as law enforcement) from a gross misdemeanor to a felony with up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine

Creates enhanced penalty for repeat offenders within 5 years: increases maximum imprisonment from 2 years to 10 years and maximum fine from $4,000 to $20,000
