Expands resident tuition eligibility at Minnesota state universities and colleges to individuals who moved to the state for employment and accepted a full-time job before relocating and before applying to a public postsecondary institution

Extends the same resident tuition benefit to spouses and dependents of qualifying workers

Excludes nonimmigrant aliens (as defined in federal immigration law) from eligibility under this provision

Effective beginning fall 2027 academic term, applying to currently enrolled students but without retroactive refunds for nonresident tuition previously paid

Requests the University of Minnesota Board of Regents to adopt a policy implementing these requirements
