Prohibits employers, employment agencies, and labor organizations from requiring employees or job applicants to possess or present a valid driver's license as a condition of employment

Exempts positions where driving is an essential job function or related to a legitimate business purpose (bona fide occupational qualification)

Requires employers to accept alternative identification documents approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for identity and employment verification purposes

Allows employers to accept a driver's license if voluntarily offered by an employee or applicant, and such voluntary acceptance cannot be used as evidence of a violation

Effective January 1, 2027; amends Minnesota Statutes section 363A.08 (unfair employment practices)
