Requires the trunk highway fund to pay for relocating local government and Minnesota Tribal government utility systems when relocation is necessitated by trunk highway construction projects

Covers utility systems that supply light, water, sanitary sewer service, or storm sewer service owned by local units of government or Tribal governments

Applies to utilities that are legally authorized to use public highways for their facility locations

Reimbursement amount is based on the remaining service life of the utility as determined by the commissioner

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 161.46, subdivision 2, expanding existing reimbursement provisions that currently apply to Interstate Highway system projects
