Adds the city of Farmington to the list of Minnesota cities (Anoka, Shakopee, and Stillwater) authorized to issue social district licenses to on-sale liquor licensees

Social district licenses allow patrons to consume alcoholic beverages purchased from participating bars and restaurants within a designated outdoor area, though sales and service must still occur on the licensed premises

Containers used in the social district must be non-glass, hold no more than 16 fluid ounces, identify the selling licensee, display a district logo, and include "Drink Responsibly - Be 21" in at least 12-point font

Cities must designate district boundaries by ordinance, specify permitted hours and days, post signage, and publish management plans on their website

Effective upon approval by the Farmington City Council
