Law enforcement agencies and local government units must disclose the name, product number, and total number of chemical irritants, smoke screens, and distraction devices deployed inside buildings by peace officers

Disclosure requirement applies when devices are used during search warrant execution, apprehending a criminal suspect, or attempting to apprehend a criminal suspect

Information must be provided upon request to building owners, tenants, insurers, and remediation service providers

Disclosure requirement overrides any existing data classification protections under Minnesota's government data practices law (Chapter 13)
