Expands the Legislative Budget Office's authority to access state agency data beyond fiscal note preparation to include reviewing the accuracy of fiscal notes on enacted legislation

Requires all state departments, agencies, and the supreme court to promptly provide requested data, including non-public data, unless prohibited by federal law

Prohibits agencies from charging the Legislative Budget Office any costs for supplying requested data

Restricts use of non-public data solely to reviewing fiscal note accuracy; dissemination to legislators or other legislative branch entities is prohibited

Violations by Legislative Budget Office staff are grounds for removal, suspension without pay, or immediate dismissal by the oversight commission
