Repeals nine sections of Laws 2025, First Special Session chapter 4, article 5, which had made changes to Medicare supplement insurance regulations effective August 1, 2026

The repealed provisions would have allowed insurers to impose preexisting condition limitations on certain Medicare supplement applicants and charge premium increases of 15-35% for individuals ages 65-70 enrolling outside their initial Medicare Part B enrollment period

The repealed provisions would have restricted the open enrollment period protections (no health-based denials or pricing discrimination) to first-time applicants ages 65-70 who meet specific requirements

The repeal takes effect the day following final enactment, preventing the August 1, 2026 implementation of the restrictions on Medicare supplement insurance access
