Licensed and certified license-exempt child care centers must not allow federal agents from DHS, ICE, CBP, or USCIS to enter without valid identification, a written statement of purpose, a valid judicial warrant, and approval from the license holder

Even when all entry requirements are met, child care centers must restrict federal agent access to areas where children are not present

Requirements do not apply when entry is required by state or federal law or needed to administer state or federally supported child care programs

Creates new section 142B.665 in Minnesota Statutes

Effective the day following final enactment
