Authorizes the city of Coon Rapids to impose a local sales and use tax of up to 0.5%, subject to voter approval at an election

$40,000,000 allocated for renovation and expansion of the police department and city center facility, including city hall and civic center

$40,000,000 allocated for construction of a new community center and expansion of the Coon Rapids Ice Center

Permits the city to issue bonds up to $80,000,000 (plus issuance costs) to finance the projects, with bonds excluded from city debt limitations

Tax expires after 25 years or when sufficient revenue is collected to cover project costs and bond obligations, whichever comes first
