Municipalities must establish a process allowing sign owners to retrieve removed signs at a reasonable time and place

Signs not claimed within 30 days of removal may be disposed of by the municipality through trash, recycling, or other means

"Sign" is defined as any device, structure, fixture, or placard using graphics, symbols, or written copy intended to advertise, inform, or attract attention of pedestrians or motor vehicle occupants
