Prohibits businesses from requiring consumers to enter arbitration agreements before or during the sale of a good or service

Permits arbitration agreements with consumers only after a sale is completed, and only if the agreement is clear, conspicuous, and separate from other general terms

Declares arbitration agreements that violate these timing and presentation requirements void and unenforceable as contrary to public policy

Requires invalid arbitration provisions to be severed from contracts while keeping remaining contract terms enforceable

Effective August 1, 2026, applying to agreements executed on or after that date
