Funds support land acquisition, restoration, and enhancement projects through partnerships with conservation organizations including Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, The Nature Conservancy, Minnesota Land Trust, and various watershed districts

Conservation Partners Legacy Grant Program receives $13,611,000 to provide competitive matching grants up to $500,000 for habitat protection, with at least $3,500,000 reserved for metropolitan areas and $3,000,000 for first-time applicants

Northern Forests Legacy Project receives $25,090,000 to acquire priority forest lands in St. Louis County for wildlife management areas, scientific and natural areas, state forests, and county forests
