Second or subsequent violations are elevated to a felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment, a fine up to $10,000, or both

"Religious establishment" is defined as a building used for worship by a religious organization that is clearly identified as such by a posted sign or other means

Effective date is August 1, 2026, applying to crimes committed on or after that date
