Extends the availability of the $500,000 appropriation for the Direct Care Services Corps Pilot Project from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2027, allowing the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living additional time to utilize the funds

Extends the deadline for the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living to report pilot project evaluation findings to the legislature from January 15, 2026 to January 15, 2028

The pilot project evaluation must assess health care costs impact, personal care assistant retention, patient and provider satisfaction, participant numbers, hours of care provided, and semester-to-semester retention

Both sections take effect the day following final enactment
