State departments and agencies required by law to submit reports to legislative committee members must deliver those reports electronically rather than in paper form.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 3.195, subdivision 1, by adding a new paragraph (e) establishing the electronic submission requirement.

Existing requirements remain unchanged: agencies must still file one copy with the Legislative Reference Library and make reports available electronically to that library.

Public entities continue to be prohibited from distributing reports to legislators unless the legislator has indicated they want to receive them or specifically requested the report.
