Creates an exception allowing assisted living facilities to forego providing 24/7 assistance request devices to residents with moderate to severe cognitive impairment who cannot reliably use such devices based on nursing assessment

Permits assisted living facilities to use person-centered strategies and technological devices as alternative means for residents to request assistance
