Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees must convene a workgroup by August 15, 2026, to review health insurance eligibility requirements for adjunct faculty and develop recommendations for expanding coverage

Workgroup membership must include representatives from the Minnesota State system office, the Inter Faculty Organization, and the Minnesota State College Faculty

Workgroup duties include identifying barriers preventing adjunct faculty from qualifying for employer-sponsored health coverage and developing specific policy and budgetary recommendations

Board of Trustees must submit a report with findings and recommendations to legislative higher education committees by December 15, 2027

Workgroup expires on February 14, 2028; effective the day following final enactment
