Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 216C.441, subdivision 3, governing the Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority's general powers

Adds new requirement that money received from gifts, grants, or interests in money or personal property accepted on behalf of the state must be deposited in the account established under subdivision 11

Clarifies the handling of funds the authority accepts for purposes pertaining to its climate-related financing activities

Maintains all existing authority powers including hiring staff, entering agreements with government entities and private organizations, acquiring property, and providing technical services for greenhouse gas emissions reduction projects
