Commissioner must deputize any deputy registrar appointed under section 168.33 to create a third-party testing program for administering driver's license knowledge, road, and skills tests

Third-party testers would be authorized to administer the same examinations currently required by the state, including knowledge tests on traffic laws, highway signs, and driving demonstrations

Deputy registrars may charge fees up to $5 for knowledge tests and up to $30 for road or skills tests

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 171.13, subdivision 1, which governs driver's license examination requirements
