Appropriates $945,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2026 to the Department of Education for Independent School District No. 99, Esko

Reimburses the district for costs of removing and replacing American Indian mascot imagery to comply with Minnesota Statutes section 121A.041

Eligible expenses include athletic uniforms, clocks, school signage, tribute markers, chairs, tables, entryway flooring, gymnasium flooring, athletic field artificial turf, and gymnasium wall mats

Expenses must have been incurred by the district on or after June 1, 2023 to qualify for reimbursement

Appropriation is available until June 30, 2028, and is a one-time funding allocation
