S.F. No. 16 - Liquor Licenses Summary

• Authorizes St. Paul to issue on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses to Fitzgerald Theatre, Great American History Theater, Brave New Workshop, Science Museum of Minnesota, and Union Depot, notwithstanding zoning or distance restrictions.

• Modifies University of Minnesota Board of Regents liquor license requirements to allow up to seven additional locations on campus (beyond Northrop Auditorium and football stadium) and permits non-contiguous licensed spaces, with on-sale liquor sales required at TCF Huntington Bank Stadium through half-time of games.

• Removes the prohibition on liquor licenses on the campus of the College of Agriculture of the University of Minnesota.

• Authorizes special liquor licenses for specific municipalities: Minneapolis (food halls at two locations), Mankato (Minnesota State University), Rochester (Historic Chateau Theater), Bloomington (Dwan Golf Course), Springfield (community center), and St. Louis Park (food hall).

• Allows Lake of the Woods County temporary licenses for Baudette Arena Association and Douglas County temporary licenses for food trucks at private events (limited to four consecutive days, 12 days per year, expires one year from approval).
