S.F. No. 9 - Legislative Corrections Bill

• Corrects technical errors and inconsistencies in Minnesota Statutes and recently enacted legislation across multiple subject areas

• Amends residential landlord covenant requirements to remove outdated language stating heat must be "capable of maintaining" minimum temperatures, clarifying landlords must equip or furnish heat maintaining at least 68 degrees Fahrenheit from October 1 through April 30

• Adjusts funding allocations for the Community Identity and Heritage Competitive Grant Program from $8,799,000 first year/$7,368,000 second year to support cultural organizations and events

• Modifies agricultural program funding and reporting requirements, including changes to good food access retail improvement program terminology and agricultural growth/research appropriations

• Changes newborn screening program fee from $184 to $184.35 per specimen and corrects grain buyer examination fee calculation provisions
