Allows political subdivisions to establish local firearms and ammunition sales tax holidays by order or ordinance, with 30-day advance notice required to the Department of Revenue

Requires retailers to offer sales tax refunds instead of the holiday exemption if firearms and ammunition comprise less than 2% of their merchandise

Automatically sunsets the program on December 31 six years after enactment unless reauthorized by the General Assembly, with a 12-year sunset if reauthorized
