Repeals and reenacts section 301.130, RSMo, regarding license plate tabs and vehicle registration evidence.

Beginning January 1, 2011, vehicle owners must place one tab on the rear license plate and place the second tab on the inside of the front windshield in a location designated by the Department of Revenue.

Tabs issued by the director of revenue shall be styled with adhesive to enable attachment to the inside of the front windshield as evidence of current vehicle registration.

A properly attached tab serves as prima facie evidence that the vehicle registration fee has been paid.

Maintains existing provisions regarding license plate design, display requirements, and registration procedures for various vehicle types including commercial vehicles, motorcycles, buses, and trailers.
