Repeals and re-enacts section 160.932 relating to the First Steps Program pilot project for child-find coordination in the greater St. Louis area.

Authorizes the regional interagency coordinating council of the greater St. Louis area system point of entry to hire a part-time child-find coordinator by July 1, 2008, to conduct child-find requirements for the region.

Requires the greater St. Louis area system point of entry (serving St. Charles County, St. Louis City, and St. Louis County) to conduct a study by September 1, 2010, on the effect of child-find activities within the region, with participation from the child-find coordinator and child-find committee composed of early intervention providers and service coordinators.

Mandates submission of the study to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, the state interagency coordinating council, and the general assembly.

Establishes an expiration date of September 1, 2011, for the provisions of this section.
