Establishes minimum starting salary of $32,500 per year for Corrections Officer I employees in training and on probation, effective July 1, 2010.

Increases Corrections Officer I salary to minimum $33,750 per year upon successful completion of probationary period evaluation.

Sets Corrections Officer I salary to minimum of $35,000 per year or 75% of average Missouri highway patrolman first class salary (whichever is greater) after three years of continuous service with successful evaluation.

Establishes tiered salary structure with $3,500 annual increases for each higher rank: Corrections Officer II, III, Supervisor I, and Supervisor II positions.

All salary minimums apply to corresponding ranks and are determined by the base salary of the next lower rank plus the specified increment.
