Extends the maximum validity period for orders of protection from one year to three years in domestic abuse and stalking cases (sections 455.040), with minimum period remaining 180 days.

Extends the maximum validity period for orders of protection in child abuse cases from one year to three years (section 455.516), with minimum period remaining 180 days.

Allows renewal of protection orders for additional periods up to three years without requiring proof of subsequent abuse.

Raises the age threshold for admissibility of child statements in abuse hearings from under 12 years old to under 14 years old under section 491.075, RSMo.

Maintains existing provisions for ex parte orders, service requirements, law enforcement system notifications, and juvenile office notifications.
