Allows fire protection districts in counties with charter government and 198,000-199,200 residents that levy property tax for central fire and emergency dispatching services to submit a voter proposal to redirect those tax revenues to county general revenue purposes.

Prohibits any property tax revenue collected under this section from being used for purposes other than the stated emergency dispatching purpose unless voters of the fire protection district first approve redirection to county general revenue.

Applies only to fire protection districts that have already levied both a property tax under section 321.243 and a sales tax for central fire and emergency dispatching services.

Requires voter approval in the same manner as other fire protection district proposals before property tax revenues can be redirected to general county purposes.
