SWAT team medical directors, their agents, and employees acting in professional capacity receive civil liability protection for medical services provided during SWAT team activities

The liability shield protects against claims of failing to exercise ordinary care standards that would normally apply to healthcare providers in similar circumstances

Liability protection does not extend to willful and wanton acts or omissions, which remain subject to damages claims

Adds new section 383.525 to Chapter 383 of Missouri Revised Statutes governing medical malpractice insurance
