Allows licensed physicians to use expedited partner therapy to treat sex partners of persons with chlamydia or gonorrhea without an intervening medical evaluation or prevention counseling.

Permits physicians utilizing expedited partner therapy to prescribe and dispense antibiotic medications in pill form to partners without an established physician-patient relationship.

Provides civil liability immunity for physicians using expedited partner therapy unless they act negligently, recklessly, in bad faith, or with malicious purpose.

Requires the Department of Health and Senior Services and the Division of Professional Registration to develop implementation guidelines for expedited partner therapy by rule.
