MO HB1781

Allows members of the general assembly and general assembly employees holding valid concealed carry endorsements to carry concealed firearms at meetings of the general assembly, committee meetings, and in the state capitol building.

Adds the state capitol building to the list of locations where concealed carry endorsements do not authorize firearm possession, except for authorized legislators and employees.

Maintains existing penalties for violations: first offense citation up to $100, second offense within six months results in $200 fine and one-year endorsement suspension, third offense within one year results in $500 fine and three-year endorsement revocation.

Requires the sheriff and department of revenue to suspend or revoke concealed carry endorsements upon conviction of charges arising from violations, with suspension reinstated at driver's license renewal.

Preserves exemptions allowing firearms in vehicles on premises as long as they remain unloaded and not brandished.
