• Repeals and replaces the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (sections 454.850-454.997) with updated provisions (sections 454.1500-454.1730) to align with model legislation adopted by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.

• Expands jurisdiction and procedures for establishing, enforcing, and modifying child support and spousal support orders across state and international lines, including enhanced mechanisms for handling multiple support orders and determining which order controls.

• Establishes procedures for registering foreign support orders and support agreements from countries that are signatories to the Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance (Hague Convention of November 23, 2007).

• Designates the family support division within the department of social services as Missouri's central authority for handling international child support applications and requires streamlined income withholding procedures for out-of-state support orders.

• Makes the act contingent on ratification of the Hague Convention by the United States Congress; until ratification occurs, the current UIFSA provisions remain in effect.
