Repeals and re-enacts section 67.1806 regarding composition and appointment of the regional taxicab commission.

Prohibits owners, employees, shareholders, independent contractors of regulated taxicabs, and persons with direct or indirect economic or political benefit from commission appointment.

Prohibits commission members from being related to transportation industry representatives within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity.

Establishes a 10-member advisory committee composed of diverse transportation industry representatives including small and large taxicab companies, airport taxi services, luxury transportation, and other transportation modes to advise the commission.

Eliminates the previous requirement that four of eight commission members be representatives of the taxicab industry and replaces it with an advisory committee structure for industry input.
